1st Quarter

EZ Blockchain™ was born in 2017 with the mission to get the best technology into crypto miners’ hands. The company started as a provider of data center hosting solutions for high density computing such as proof-of-work blockchain also known as crypto mining.

2nd Quarter

The first EZ Blockchain™ office was opened in Chicago in 2017. The company culture was one of self-supporting excitement. Bitcoin and crypto mining were fast-moving markets. And once the team pivoted to focus on energy, they collectively knew they were building something big.

3d Quarter

The company has diversified its revenue streams by participating in proprietary crypto mining. The team helped miners over the transformation of GPU to ASICs computation around that same time. In the company’s first year, there was such high demand that they started providing data center hosting solutions in addition to equipment.

1st Quarter

By early 2018, EZ Blockchain™ was already developing its first line of high-density computing modular data centers. These were mobile data centers retrofitted into shipping containers. The idea was that the container could be easily moved to follow the cheapest source of energy.

3d Quarter

EZ Blockchain™ opened a new mobile data center site 1.5-hour drive from Chicago. The new location, comprised of three data centers, is projected to deploy up to 3 megawatts (MW) of power — but has the capacity for 6 MW.

February

The company grew its focus on wasted energy, specifically on flared gas, stranded gas and landfill gas. We developed a mobile flaring mitigation system available to be deployed right on oil pads to reduce flaring, called EZ Smartgrid™, which consists of a gas electric generator and a Smartbox™ — a mobile data center filled with crypto mining equipment.

December

Throughout 2019, EZ Blockchain™ has been preparing to expand the business by building bitcoin mining containers manufacturing.

June

EZ Blockchain™ launched the EZ Smartbox™ 3.0, a 40 ft container size mobile unit with its extraordinary efficiency and power capacity for cryptocurrency mining operations. Smartbox™ 3.0 is designed to stay ahead of the fast-paced environment by providing full plug-and-play mobile data centers within a reasonable upfront cost.

February

EZ Blockchain™ installed the first mobile data center filled with MicroBt Whatsminer crypto mining equipment almost 1MW of power consumption at the site of a Silver Energy client in Alberta, Canada. The project installation took three days and the data centers were fully operational by March 2021.

March

Wesco Operating, Inc. installed the EZ Smartgrid™ Flaring Mitigation System™ by EZ Blockchain™, reducing flaring from 240,000 scf per day to 0. The client’s goal was to eliminate flaring at their gas processing plant and monetize the flared gas in an alternative way by doing crypto mining on-site.

April

Sergii Gerasymovych is an honouree of the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe in the Manufacturing and Industry category “Creating the products, methods, and materials of tomorrow”.

May

EZ Blockchain™ opened a Houston, TX office to target wasted natural gas in Permian Basin

June

EZ Blockchain™ is an official sponsor of the Bitcoin 2021 Conference in Miami. Sergii Gerasymovych, Co-Founder and CEO of EZ Blockchain, moderated a panel discussion “How Bitcoin Mining Fixes Our Energy Problems”.

September

Mass production of the new mobile data centers with immersion cooling Smartbox™ 1500i was started.

March

EZ Blockchain™ Introduced its Immersion Cooling Crypto Mining Container to the market – Smartbox™ 1500i. This engineering breakthrough has a 20ft container footprint while being a lightweight data center capable of operating up to 288 of the newest generation cryptocurrency miners with the electrical infrastructure that gives hash rate increase up to 40%.

April

EZ Blockchain™ is an official sponsor of the Bitcoin 2022 Conference in Miami. Sergii Gerasymovych, Co-Founder and CEO of EZ Blockchain, participated in a panel titled “Building New Grids.” EZ Blockchain launched a new line of business – Hosting Services. We started building hosting facilities to enter new energy markets.

The Ranger I project (GA) is completed

May

EZ Blockchain™ expanded its facilities to 16 MWs in Georgia by tapping into underutilized energy on the grid. The company invested in total of over $1 million into the area to tap into this energy, hiring only local contractors. Additionally, EZ Blockchain™ created 8 full-time and well-paying tech jobs. The Ranger II project (GA) is completed.

June

The Coffee I project (GA) is completed. EZ Blockchain™ generated jobs and revenue for the local community and to do it in such a way that we were not a bother to the community.

July

The Flower I project (KS) is completed. EZ Blockchain™ established a good working relationship with a miner manufacturer and worked with wasted wind energy to transform it into a new revenue stream in cryptocurrency.

1st Quarter

EZ Blockchain successfully weathers the recent of crypto winter storm combined with unprecedented energy crisis even stronger by breaking ground on the expansion of the Coffee 1 project to 16 MW total.

Q1

EZ Blockchain began providing Bitcoin mining hosting services to retail customers, expanding its power capacity to 60MW across all sites, with an additional 40MW under development. In early 2024, the company launched the upgraded SB2000 air-cooled mining container.

Mission statement Sustainable crypto mining
As the first company in the world that created a mobile solid frame mining container and an industry leader of portable data center manufacturing, we see that the world needs bitcoin mining to be green and go towards null carbon emission.

Instead of just buying carbon credits, we run an extra mile to find unutilized or wasted energy in isolated locations to bring jobs and technologies to local communities while mining bitcoin.

This clip shares a humorous anecdote about the speaker's high school experience, making it relatable and entertaining. I did win the Class Clown Award back in high school, too. So just to be clear, that was a coveted award. But, yeah, I mean, the social side, the introvert, extrovert, I do get my energy from learning and being more quiet. But I would say on the social side, I certainly enjoy people as well. No, that's fascinating. So starting in the 90s, then you went through the whole 2000s, the dot-com boom. You were transitioning through that craziness of 2000s. Tell me about that period of time. What was cool about it and how similar was it to the boom of crypto in 2017, 2018? In hindsight, I mean, it was almost identical. Really? Living through the dot-com boom, when it crashed, I was in my first year of grad school. 🔗 Links & Resources: Twitter: https://x.com/sergiigera Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sergii-gerasymovych Site: https://ezblockchain.net/ 🚨The contents of this channel and any videos do not constitute legal, financial, business or professional advice. This clip highlights the journey of an entrepreneur, showcasing the passion and drive needed to succeed, which resonates with aspiring business owners. I wish I could say I was a mad genius. I had this great idea. I loved computers. We lived in the country. Okay. I was very fortunate. My dad's a very technically savvy entrepreneur himself. So he started a company called One Corporation in the 80s that does digital signage, restaurant technology systems, et cetera. He brought home a computer for me and instantly I was hooked. So this would have been eighth, ninth, 10th grade. Again, living in the country, there was no girls to get me in trouble. We had a hard time getting into town. You have nothing to do. You have to start a company. Yeah, the fair was only one week during the summer, so that's when everyone would get into trouble. But my neighbor and my best friend, Nate Hubert, who was my vice president of operations at Compute North, a lot of people know his name, he would help me out along the way. And so by my senior year in high school, we had 17 computers, like 300 phone lines, a full rack, and an overheating bedroom. This clip emphasizes the importance of starting a business and the mindset required, motivating aspiring entrepreneurs. Who just wakes up and says, hey, I'm going to start a business, right? I know a lot of people go to MBA, to schools and study business, but none of them really end up starting a company. I wish I could say I was a mad genius. I had this great idea. I loved computers. This clip discusses the unique aspects of Bitcoin mining and energy, appealing to tech enthusiasts and those interested in crypto. What I saw was a market that I was very familiar with, large-scale computers, large-scale projects. Um, infrastructure at scale, but it was what was really different and really unique is that it was so focused around energy. energy and when we were building data centers was kind of an afterthought. It was like something you had, you didn't really care about the price. It was really all about the fiber and the connectivity and being able to get that at your locations. And so it was kind of a fun learning experience and something to dive into i know story short, bought a couple miners, used to heat my garage.
